So as the first lyric day in um, ages, I thought I'd start with a cracker of a line. In case you didn't know - and I'm not sure how many Britney fans read *this* blog - the above lyric is taken from her recent song Til The World Ends. Except this is the Nicki Minaj + Ke$ha version. Yes, and they talk about poultry in it. As well as various other interesting lyrical references that seem utterly meaningless to me, but make me giggle on the way to work.
One of the best things (!) about being hard of hearing is that quite often you get the words wrong with songs - they can't possibly be saying what you think they're saying....can they? In this case, Nicki Minaj definitely is talking about chickens. F**k knows why. And what it's got to do with Britney. Unless she's saying she's no spring chicken. (Fact fans you'll be interested to know that Britters and I are the same age. Oh yes. Look how similar we are....)
